Keeping your account secure

A strong password, two-step log-in, safe email habits and what to do if you think someone got into your account.

Your digiflippers.com account holds your listings, offers and deals. A few habits keep it safe.

The basics

  • Use a unique password that you do not use anywhere else. A password manager helps.
  • Switch on two-step log-in with an authenticator app — see Two-step log-in.
  • Keep your email account secure too: whoever controls your email can reset your password.
  • Log out on shared or public computers.

Recognising fake messages

We never ask for your password, your log-in codes or payment to “unlock” your account. Emails from us come from our own address and link to our own site. When in doubt, open the site yourself instead of clicking.

If you think someone got in

  1. Reset your password straight away with Forgot password? on the log-in page.
  2. Check your email address and phone in Dashboard → Settings and correct them if they were changed.
  3. Switch on two-step log-in or make new backup codes.
  4. Check your listings, offers and deals for anything you did not do.
  5. Contact us from Dashboard → Support so we can look at your account.

Tip: Our team can remove a lost authenticator app from your account after checking it is really you — see Two-step log-in.
