Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Websites also use similar browser storage. This policy lists what digiflippers.com uses and why.

Cookies that are needed

These make the marketplace work and keep it secure, so they cannot be switched off:

• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* — keep you logged in and protect your account (until you log out, or up to 14 days if you choose “Remember me”).
• wordpress_test_cookie — checks that your browser accepts cookies when you log in (session).
• wp-settings-* — remember screen preferences for members of our team (up to 1 year).

Partner links

• mf_ref — when you arrive through a partner’s link, remembers which partner sent you for 90 days, so the partner is credited if you sign up or pay. It contains only the partner’s code.

Storage in your browser

• mf_digi_chat_* (local storage) — keeps your conversation with Digi AI open as you move between pages, until you start a new one or clear your browser.
• mf-viewed-* (session storage) — counts a listing view only once per visit; deleted when you close the tab.

Other services

When you pay, verify your identity or use escrow, you use pages of Stripe or Escrow.com, a licensed escrow company, which set their own cookies to prevent fraud; their cookie policies apply. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will list them here and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies that are needed, you will not be able to log in.
