Deals and payment
Agreeing the terms
What the terms contain, why both sides accept them, and what happens if someone does not.
The first step of every Deal Room is agreeing the terms. It turns a price into a clear agreement that both sides can rely on.
What the terms contain
- The asset and the agreed price.
- What is included, taken from the listing’s About the sale and details.
- The transfer checklist for this asset type.
- The deadlines for payment, transfer and inspection.
- The marketplace rules that apply, including fees if any.
Accepting
Buyer and seller each click Accept the terms. You have 2 day(s). When both have accepted, the payment step starts.
If you do not agree
Talk in the Deal Room chat first — misunderstandings are often cleared up quickly. If you cannot agree, either of you can cancel the deal at this stage; the listing goes back on sale.
If nobody accepts in time
When the deadline passes without both acceptances, the deal can be cancelled automatically and the listing returns to the marketplace.
Tip: Read the included items carefully. Anything that is not in the terms is not part of the deal — ask the seller to confirm extras in the chat before you accept.
Thanks for your feedback!
