Deals and payment
The inspection period
After the transfer the buyer checks the asset before the deal is completed — what to check and what to do if something is wrong.
The inspection period starts when the seller marks the transfer as done. For 2 day(s), the buyer checks that everything is as agreed before the deal is completed.
What to check
- You have full control: logins changed, email and phone changed, two-step log-in reset to yours.
- Everything listed as included is there: domain, content, files, social profiles, lists, code.
- The numbers you can now see yourself match what was listed (traffic, revenue, subscribers).
- For accounts: the original email is included if promised, and old sessions were signed out.
Everything is fine
Click Complete the deal. The deal is completed, the listing is marked sold and, with escrow, the money is released to the seller.
If you do nothing, the deal completes automatically when the inspection period ends without a dispute.
Something is wrong
- Tell the seller in the Deal Room chat — many problems are fixed quickly.
- If it cannot be fixed, open a dispute before the inspection period ends. Deadlines are frozen while our team looks at it. See Disputes.
After completion
For accounts, we remind you every 7 days for a while to check that the account is still yours — see Protecting yourself against account recovery.
Important: Confirm only when you have checked. After completion, the deal is closed and a protected payment is released.
Thanks for your feedback!
