Reading a listing: what is verified and what is claimed
How to read the badges, the numbers, the seller card, the transfer section and the AI summary on a listing page.
On this page
A listing page tells you much more than the price. Knowing where each piece of information comes from is the most important buying skill.
Verified or claimed
- Verified owner means the seller proved control of the asset, for example with a DNS record, a file on the site or a code in the channel description.
- Verified numbers were read from the real source (for example Google Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, YouTube or Stripe) and show a check mark with the date they were read.
- Claimed numbers were typed in by the seller. They may be true — but ask for proof before you rely on them.
The seller card
The seller card shows the seller’s trust level (email, phone or identity verified), badges, rating, number of completed sales and how quickly they usually answer. Click the name to see their profile, other listings and reviews.
About the sale
This part explains why the seller is selling, what exactly is included (for example the domain, content, social profiles, email list), how the asset is handed over and whether the seller helps after the sale.
The transfer section
Each asset type has its own transfer checklist — the exact steps used in the Deal Room. Read it before you offer, so you know what you will receive and what you will need (for example a registrar account for a domain).
The AI summary
When the marketplace offers it, an AI summary lists strengths, risks, what is verified or only claimed, and questions to ask the seller. It is written from the listing only — use it as a checklist, not as advice.
Locked details
Some details show a lock, and some documents are shared only with the buyer in a deal. They open for you automatically once a price is agreed and the Deal Room starts — the terms you accept there include keeping them confidential.
Important: If a listing looks wrong — stolen content, fake numbers, an asset that cannot be sold — use Report this listing. Our team checks every report.
