Selling

Before you list: what to prepare

The information, access and proof to have ready so your listing goes live quickly and sells faster.

On this page
  1. About the asset
  2. The numbers
  3. Proof of ownership
  4. Your account
  5. Your price

Listing takes about ten minutes when you have everything at hand. Here is what to prepare.

About the asset

  • The address, handle or link exactly as buyers would find it (for example example.com or youtube.com/@channel).
  • Its age, niche and a few sentences on what makes it valuable.
  • What is included: domain, content, social profiles, email list, suppliers, code, designs.
  • Why you are selling — buyers always ask.

The numbers

  • Traffic, revenue and profit for the last 12 months where they exist.
  • Access to the real sources, so you can connect them and show verified numbers: Google Analytics, Search Console, AdSense, YouTube or Stripe. See Verified numbers.
  • Screenshots of anything that cannot be connected.

Proof of ownership

Depending on the asset you will add a DNS record, upload a small file, add a meta tag, put a code in a profile or description, or send a screenshot to our team. Make sure you can log in to the place where you need to do this. See Proving you own the asset.

Your account

  • Confirm your email address.
  • Some asset types can only be sold by sellers who verified their phone or identity. The sell form tells you if yours needs it; see Verifying your phone and identity.
  • Add a profile photo and public name — buyers answer faster to a real person.

Your price

Look at recent sales and the free valuation, and decide how you want to sell: fixed price, offers or auction. See Pricing your asset and Ways to sell.

Tip: You can save a draft at any step and continue later from Dashboard → My listings.
