Transferring assets
How the transfer checklist works
Each asset type has its own hand-over steps. The seller marks each step done, the buyer confirms it.
On this page
The transfer step of the Deal Room is a checklist made for the kind of asset you are trading. It makes sure nothing is forgotten and records who did what.
Who does what
- The seller does a step — for example “Change the account email to the buyer’s” — and clicks Mark as done, with a note if useful.
- The buyer checks it and clicks Confirm this step.
- When every step is confirmed, the transfer is complete and the inspection period starts.
If a step is not right, the buyer says so in the chat instead of confirming. The seller fixes it and marks it done again.
Deadline
The seller has 7 day(s) to complete the transfer. Need longer — for example because a registrar takes time? Ask for more time in the Deal Room before the deadline. See Deadlines, reminders and extensions.
Sharing logins
Some steps need login details. Share them as a file or message in the Deal Room — never by email or another app — and change every password straight after the transfer.

Tip: Read the checklist before you agree the price. It tells both sides exactly what the hand-over involves.
